A great article this week in the New York Times about an upcoming fiber artist in SoHo, Dana Barnes. She makes giant crocheted granny squares, that are then felted and shaped into contemporary floor rugs, among other things.

Her studio looks so inspiring!

At work, with her 3 assistants. What a dream job!

A felted bedroom: felted blanket, felted slippers, and multiple felted rugs. Read the article here.
