My first venture into knitwear. A green cardigan, knitted top-down with raglan sleeves. The coolest part about working this way is you can try it on as you go. I can use some of the fashion skills I learned in college but, creating the fabric while your structuring it to fit on a body is a whole new challenge.

I had a dream about the cutest pig last night.

One of my favorite Christmas presents -- purple leather-bound with silver-tipped pages. I don't know anything about H. G. Wells but this amazingly beautiful book suddenly makes me want to. It's from Barnes & Noble, they put together a bunch of classic compilations, each with it's one style of cover art. The experience of reading a beautiful book can totally enhance the incentive to read in the first place.
